Sebastian Steinhardt plays what comes to his mind, without notes and without limits. He lets himself be guided by his intuition, his mood and his audience. He creates unique piano music from the moment, which sometimes can be gentle and soft, sometimes powerful, harmonious, and also dissonant. He is a master of free improvisation.

Sebastian is a pianist who specializes in completely free improvisation. He recently gave a live concert, where he freely improvised all the works in front of the audience. This concert was recorded and resulted in unique live piano works, which are released in a continuing series as singles and EPs under the title PIANO IMPROVISATIONS.

The current first single contains 2 tracks each of which is a spontaneous composition. The music is diverse and varied, reflecting the emotions and thoughts of the pianist Sebastian Steinhardt, which he had during the concert.

The first work is the „PIANO OVERTURE“, the second work Sebastian describes in retrospect very moving in a touching manner, hence the title „IN THE MOOD“.

The music is interactive and communicative, it secretly responds to the feedback of the audience and therefore contains a very special liveliness and uniqueness.
